AB Investment AS and Spitsbergen AS, two companies fully owned by Anders
Onarheim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of North Energy ASA, have merged
with AB Investment AS being the acquiring company. As a result of the merger
975,939 shares in North Energy ASA have been transferred from Spitsbergen AS to
AB Investment AS. The total number of shares beneficially owned by Onarheim
after the merger have not changed and are as previously announced 24,368,424,
which equals 20.47% ownership in North Energy ASA.
